Masala Murmura Recipe – Non Fried – Spicy Puffed Rice – Spicy Murmura Chivida – Healthy Snacks
healthy and spicy murmura recipe is made with puffed rice and is a healthy, easy evening snack for kids and adults. You can make ahead this non fried spicy masala murmura chivida and enjoy this as a snack in office, hostel, pg etc #nonfried #healthysnacks #nisahomey
400 gms murmura
1 tbsp coconut oil
1/4 tsp methi seeds
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tbsp pottu kadala
2 tbsp peanuts
10 -15 cashewnuts
7-10 whole red chilies
1 tsp pink himalayan salt or as needed
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp kashmiri chilli powder
1 tsp amchur/dry mango powder
2 tbsp black raisins
Curry leaves as needed
adjust salt as per your taste
use any locally sourced murmura, I used the one made from kerala matta rice (kerala red rice)
If your murmura is not fresh and crisp, lightly roast it first before using.
