Decadent Chia Seed Pudding Meal Prep!
Chia Seed Pudding as a awesome looking and delicious meal prep is on the menu today in this video by Fit Couple Cooks.
This is great for morning meal prep and you don’t even need a kitchen! The recipe is really easy because it is as simple as putting everything together in a bowl. For this recipe they are using two cans of Coconut Milk rather than normal milk. Make sure you read the instructions on the can to make sure that it only says Coconut Extract and Water. Be careful for the products that has extra ingredients like sugar. You don’t want those!
Once you have added the Coconut Milk you need to add 2 tablespoons of Coconut Sugar. This is followed by 3 quarters of a cup of Chia. Chia Seeds are a rich source of thiamine and niacin and also a moderate source of riboflavin and folate. It contains high amounts calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus and zinc!
A common use for Chia Seeds are as toppings or in smoothies, breakfast cereals, energy bars and yogurt. Another use is to turn it into a gelatin-like substance that can be eaten raw. It is often used as a substitute in Vegan cooking. You can even replace the eggs in cakes with the gel from ground seeds!
But I have gone a bit off topic now. Watch the video to see the Pudding come to life!
