I love eggs. I eat them daily so when I find some new ways to prepare eggs then I just have to do it. That was my first thought when I saw this quick and easy dish. I have made my own omelettes before but have never tried the Spanish Style version.
Obviously, this being The Protein Chef the protein it is packed with 50 grams of protein. It is easy to make using only 6 ingredients but expires after 3 to 5 days, so you can’t keep it lying around for too long. But at the end of the day it is delicious and you can reheat the meal if you want to enjoy it later.
A Spanish Omelette is the English name for a traditional dish in Spanish cuisine called tortilla española, tortilla de patatas or tortilla de papas. The omelette is made with eggs and potatoes and sometimes onion and/or chives or garlic are added. It is fried in oil and often served cold as an appetizer. It is enjoyed in Spain as well as many of the South American countries.
