1/4 cup broken brown rice (or any brown rice of your choice)
1/4 cup tur dal
2 cups water to cook the rice
1/2 tsp turmeric
3/4 tsp pink himalayan salt
2 handful of palak leaves (spinach)
1 green chilli (or as per your taste)
1 tbsp wood pressed ground nut oil
1 tsp jeera (cumin seeds)
1 small cinnamon stick
5 black peppercorns
2 whole red chilies
1 chopped onion
1 tsp chopped ginger
1 tomato chopped
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp cumin powder
1/4 tsp hing
1/4 tsp Kashmiri chilii powder
1/4 tsp hing
Salt if needed
