For the caramel syrup:
1/2 cup organic sugar
1/4 cup water
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
2/3 cup salted butter (130 gms) (no need to add any extra salt if using salted butter)
1 cup organic sugar (If using refined white sugar 3/4 cup is enough)
1/4 cup black raisins
1/4 cup dates, chopped
1/4 cup almonds/badam, chopped
1/2 cup cashewnuts, chopped
1 clove, 2 cardamons, a small piece of nutmeg, A small piece of cinnamon.
Preheat oven to 180 degree C (preferably when I mention in the video)
Make sure the dry fruits are well coated with the flour. You can use dry fruits of your choice like; dried cranberries, walnuts, dried orange rind etc.
