The strength vs muscle video was SUPER helpful!!! I’m not a body builder. I’m just trying to recover from a long term esophogeal illness that left my metabolism damaged (per resting metabolic rate study @ the Mayo). This was from consuming 600-900 calories / day max for years. Now that I’ve had surgery and can eat better, I’m gaining weight eating 1200 calories! I’m working with an endocrinologist, a nutritionist and a trainer to fix my eating and do some strength training. But to be honest, I’m having trouble figuring out why I am supposed to be doing what they have me doing. Especially since I’m working hard, measuring food and still gaining weight. And especially when it is very different from what I see other people at the gym doing. I really have a lot to learn but this video was SO helpful!! Thank you! (And now I know that if I’m sore or tired, lifting less weight for more reps does not equal more weight with less reps. ) Thank you!!!
